Where to Quarantine in Australia when arriving from overseas?

Quarantine will take place in the city of arrival. However, this may not be the closest one to your hometown. Whilst we endeavour to bring people close to their city of residence, it is not always possible to do so due flight constraints.

After arrival in Australia and quarantine has been completed, the person can travel to their home residence.

For example, a person, living in Sydney, who has landed in Adelaide, MUST undertake quarantine in Adelaide before being able to continue to their final destination of Sydney. It must be noted that quarantine is then not required in the city of final destination, if quarantine has taken place in another state/territory. Only one (1) 14-day quarantine period is required per entrant in Australia.
